Another great bunch of pics, LJF! Wong was obviously auditioning for the Guardian of the Hall of the Leopard, and as many here know later said that he actually had no intention of actually taking the role, which is why Bruce again asked Taky. I'm sharing these links on my article.

Just sharing my thought... My 2 cents...I think Bruce would have mapped out the fight with the Hall of Guardian on his GAME's notes already. Nick has similar thoughts. I totally agreed after reviewing the footage, photos, fight schedule of GAME etc.

Looking at the footage and photos, Wing Chun (Wan Kam Leung vs Wong Shun Leung) and JKD kicks (Skinny Guy vs Wu Ngan), there's may be more story about this hall than we've already known.

Bruce looked so lean here, his head looks too big for his tiny body, no wonder friends commented on how thin he'd become. Might he have had an eating disorder, something like anorexia? An unhealthy/distorted self-image? Years earlier he'd been buying protein powders to try to put on muscle, when did that change?

Would love to see that footage

Discussion of Lee's weight loss and the possible causes and reasons for it seems to be somewhat of a taboo subject. Did he have an eating disorder? Was there something beyond his control the cause? Endless speculation. I am sure he was still physically strong during this time, but it makes you wonder about things.

Lee told his wife, Linda in a letter that he was down to 128 pounds while filming The Big Boss in Thailand. His weight then was similar to about the time he filmed ETD. The difference was the body mass didnt decreased so obviously in TBB than in ETD where his body mass and weight decreased more apparently.

Thanks LJF!

Yes, most of those are stills from the video clips that were shown in the documentary Bruce Lee: The Man and the Legend (58:30). The unknown skinny guy is seen in short choreographed fight sequences with Wu Ngan, and with Wong Shun-Leung (wearing blue adidas track pants). The very last scene in the segment shows Bruce Lee from behind (in a two-shot) throwing a punch at Wong Shun-Leung (facing camera) and then at the unknown skinny guy. They seem to be practicing face punch reaction shots. All these scenes have the sound effects dubbed in.

The unknown skinny guy is REALLY skinny...lol. He moves in a weird, awkward way, but he's pretty quick.

I wonder if these fight screen tests were ideas Bruce was working on for ETD, or for GOD?
