I did a quick shoot with this as it was cheap in Morrisons, so I figured a few people might get it for xmas.
Here's the baseline data, with both Elite darts and the Xtra Distance darts supplied with it. I don't do reviews so I leave that to someone else. I couldn't add this to the Vault stock blaster archive as I am no longer an admin, so if there's a mod with a minute they might want to do that.

Interesting stuff! Appreciate the information.

Given that the AR is so easy to remove/replace (literally just remove two screws, don't even need to open the blaster), would it be possible to get a data set with no AR?

I don't remove AR's, they rarely restrict air flow in modern DP systems. You might gain 2fps.
If I get time this weekend I will look at it and try and get data so you can see the diffence.

I'd appreciate it if you could. I don't normally remove them, but with a blaster that seems to give you the option to take it out and put it back in at will, it'd be interesting to see what, if any, difference it makes.

Oh that's interesting. I didn't expect to see much improvement, but to see it's actually detrimental to performance... Glad to see it in figures. Thanks again OldNoob.

We have found the same in Firestrikes, it's due to the short barrel, the dart starts moving earlier in the stroke with the AR out.  Any air flow improvement is then wasted. If you put a functional barrel on that was about the length of the dart you might see a small improvement.
