<Edit to add more detail>
Rewired and 2s rhino jyn erso for me. The lights and sounds haven't lost their appeal yet.... Followed Oldnoobs guide mostly - but need to replace the magwell LED's that i think i fried
The blaster just works for me - i'll think about doing a more detailed review after TI as i'm going to open it up to make it a bit more awesome, but as it is it is my favourite blaster at the moment. Despite the small grip it works surprisingly well for large hands, and what's more useful is although it looks on the surface like a stryfe reshell, the trigger pull/dart push mechanism is subtly different to a stryfe, meaning a smoother action and higher rate of fire. I've had a couple of people at GuN asking if it's full auto.
Bizarrely i've matched this blaster with a Demolisher stock that i had lying around - never thought i'd see the day when the demo stock proved useful. With a bit of metal rod bending i've added a sling mount to the underside of the stock which i've used as a single point sling mount - having the blaster hanging straight down is my preferred method of carriage and keeps it handy for both left and right handed use. Plus i can easily swing it behind me if i need it out the way. When hanging in front it slots between the two miranda pouches for additional stability.
Hammershot for back up with a standard 5 darts cylinder and an upgraded spring that Justajolt sourced for us. Fine for close up last ditch shots.
My stock rough cut, in the back holster sleeve which my mum made for me. She's a talented lady and loves a bit of Nerf fabric modding if required...
Mag wise i carry 8* 18 straight mags, stacked 4 each side of my battle belt in a three in BSUK triple miranda's and one in the pocket behind combination. All set with the darts facing to the right for ease of loading. MkIV holster on the battle belt on my right side. Small dump pouch for spare darts on the left. And a BSUK Large Zip Dump pouch across the back of the belt for used mags. Then a 22 dart worker mag in the blaster and one in my off hand if needed.
All held up with a condor H-harness to keep things stable. Despite being a tall chap i've struggled to find a balance between having mags/dump pouch low enough to maintain ease of access, verses having them high enough that they don't impede me crouching. I guess that's an issue with the length of 18 dart mags, but avoiding joggers nipple has been a serious concern!
Then for the TI event some sort of military themed costume, just to vary it up from my usual 'operator' status
I'll keep that under wraps until the event its self...
