As per the title, is the USA Cyclone Shock still orange trigger, as I'm thinking of ordering one for Xmas.

Thanks

Yes, AFAIK the new toy legislation hasn't passed there yet, but you can make an even better cyclone shock by replacing the spring in a UK one with a Blasterparts or Blastersmiths mod spring.

Thanks, I'm ordering this evening!

EDIT-
Me again - I haven't ordered yet because for the same price I can get a grey trigger Rotofury.  I don't really want to add an aftermarket spring to the Rotofury as it sounds fiddly.

Any opinions on what the grey trigger version of the Rotofury is like vs orange trigger?  I watched the Coop review last night and it seemed to get around 70fps.  Boff's tests came in at an average of 69fps (grey trigger, stock spring).  Wonder if I'm really missing out on much with the grey trigger version?  Is there any other reason to go for the Cyclone Shock over the RF?

Thanks

The only real differences are form factor, ammo capacity and ease of modification, they both get around the same stock performance afaik.

MODERATION- Nerfnoob, fixed the double post you made, please use this method if you have new info to add BEFORE anyone replies to your last post. Use edit, add to your previous post instead of making multiple posts.

The cycloneshock makes an awesome hand cannon.
I think it actually has more potential power than the rotofury.
We love them in my house. I have one as a side arm and the daughter uses a rebarreled one as her main blaster a lot of the time.

It's quite straight forward to change the spring as the plunger head is held on with a screw.
Only issue I've had was with a blasterparts spring. It started to bend the pin at the end of the plunger rod that engages with the slide, meaning it wouldn't properly prime and catch.
I resolved this by knocking out that pin and fitting a more substantial one.

Don't be put off about modding the rotofury either. I've done a few now.
