Do any of you have any info in this retailer? I have a cased RIC type revolver sold by them coming next week. I could not find them listed in any of Brown's 3 volume set.

Can't find any reference in any of my books but did find this listing from the 1902 Ayr Post Office Directory. It seems they were Ironmongers.

Of course, in Britain an "ironmonger" is what we in North America would refer to as a "hardware merchant".

From the online Oxford Living Dictionaries - "A person or shop selling hardware such as tools and household implements."
