By kind permission of Google Translate.........best i can do even though I live in France 🤓

Peace is that brief, quiet moment in history.......... when everybody stands around reloading.

Many thanks, I did consider this option. But I was hoping for somebody who knew the culture and the language well enough to translate it accurately.

Don't know why French doesn't translate literally into English.
Have the Gregory Peck film, Twelve O'Clock High. The French title is Un Homme De Fer. A man of iron? How did they manage to get that from the original title?

Well, I do have a French friend who may be able to do it, I will ask him tomorrow.
As a matter of interest, why do you want it translating?🤔

I was walking home as a part of my Morning Constitutional and began singing it after a YouTube recommendation popped into my head from the night before, it's a very catchy (and nostalgic) tune.

I then drew a connection to George Dawes when he sung Happy Days in French, and it just seemed like a good idea.

But it has to be done by somebody who understand the culture.

Thanks for helping out, I can't wait..
