Powell River Regals will be hosting the MacKenzie Cup, BC/Alberta Senior AAA Championship starting tonight. Stony Plain will be the Regals opponents in the best-of-five series. Winner will advance to the Allan Cup in Lloydminster.

Regals fell behind 2-1 after the first but stormed back and scored six straight goals for the 7-2 win in game one.

Sony Plain tied up the best-of-five MacKenzie Cup with a 6-2 empty net victory over the Regals. Game three goes tomorrow night.

Powell River Regals are down 2-1 in their best of five series as Stony Plain notched a 8-3 victory Saturday night. The home team is in a must win situation

So how is the mac cup going regal? I see your down but are the teams farily even . Must be very good hockey beeing played , building should be packed . Please give more details. Thanks

Regals could not hang on to a 3-1 lead in the third period as Stony scored three staight goals to win the Mac Cup 3-1 in games. Both teams were very tired playing their fourth game in four days. Stony anvances to the Allan Cup representing the Pacific region in Lloydminster. Good luck Stony.
