,,,,,, all these videos, though quite separated by time., have a common thread. That is that each video referances early 20th century style institutional single ( hospital) beds.
A single bed is one thing, but these look SO hospital/medicinal- straight across  number of years.
Let' not even breech other odd things connecting Bowie tunes, sheesh

I associate it with Cane Hill, the institution that Terry Jones was put into in Coulsdon near Croydon. 

There have been various accounts that DB never visited but I choose to believe the books that said he did. He certainly wrote to his brother too (I have seen a few genuine postcards that he sent which a carer at the institution "kept" and handed onto a relative who tried to offload them on eBay post January 2016).

Then there is that series that Steven Klein shot with Bowie, that has an institutional bed in half the shots.

So what is the collective noun for a bunch of Bowies on a bad bed?
A conventicle of magpies?

Those don't look comfortable at all. At least the bathroom's close at hand. That's a thoughtful touch.
