Catch review in the Culture Mag by Bob Fitzpatrick...

Quite good although he comments that the author Doggett argues by the mid 80s DB was ' artistically finished, someone who questioned nothing, risked nothing and stood for nothing'...........

In the mid 80s DB made the "boring trilogy": Let's Dance, Tonight and NLMD.

True it was a low point artistically but certainly Doggett is wrong with Buddha, Outside, Heathen etc still to come......!

Perhaps the book needed a longer coda, suggesting that the Eighties were not so much a decline as a trough.
