Ever wondered what was the most popular Bowie album? Is it just down to flat sales? Not according to the chap who runs this website and who carries out the most extraordinary (i.e. borderline insane) level of analysis of  the popularity of works by major recording artists. Check out his work in Bowie. The links takes you to the penultimate page with the summary on it - there are 60 odd other pages of data to enjoy, if that's yer bag!

So TMWSTW, Lodger, Outside, Heathen, TND and Blackstar are all "less popular" than Never let Me Down...? Bless.

haha I suppose he'd trying to measure how far in its many forms (downloads, appearances on compilations etc.) an album has seeped into the social fabric, but the idea that Never Let Me Down has made more of an impact than ones you mentions does say something about either his method or popular taste - or maybe both.
