went to see them last night at Radio City, and never really rated them back in the 90's because of all his controversy, but i have to say, I really enjoyed it. Maybe i was missing the UK, and biased to have a Brit in town, but he really brought it.
Funny thing, he was in my home town today giving a talk at Yale, so I went! here we are, not a fan in sight...and a chill, very well mannered and down to earth Jarvis.

Yeah, great pic! They were a great band. Everything up to This Is Hardcore was excellent.

I Spy was my favourite ever Jools Holland performance.

Hangman, you never seem to have anything positive to say these days. Bowie plaque unveiling- you said:

"I still think the whole thing stinks. Radio 4 were live from Heddon Street this morning. The medley of Ziggy tunes sounded really really embarrassing on the Today programme."

Ziggy 40th cover - you said:

" Even that is shit."

ziggy the album = "When I first sought out the album I was as annoyed by the total non-cover as I was by the hippy music inside."

BTWN video on T.V. "Seeing the videos on The Chart Show was embarrassing. 1993 was terrible."

Zizzi's Beckenham giving the whole place a Bowie themed makeover - " It would be like eating in a Shoreditch carpark if it was sponsored by Topman."

Hmm!

It's true. All that was shit.

Although you struggled with the Zizzi thing, that was a while ago.

And also - CREEPY.

Out of all the Brit pop bands that came out in the mid 90s, i liked Pulp the best.

Thanks Ant. Funny part is the pic was taken by renowned photographer Gregory Crewdson with my iphone... He was like "where do I press?" clearly not a tech guy... but handy with a 4x5 camera

So cool that Jarvis was giving a speech on photography with you professional photographers attending.

HangMan, I'm sure you've posted lots more negative comments on here, probably on a daily basis. You know what, the irony is I actually find your posts embarrassing.

I can't say I've noticed your posts, sorry.
I could write a lot of very positive things about Pulp. I really loved them '92 - '94 but didn't like Different Class much. It was a bit Pulp-by-numbers for me, although appreciate that it was the first time most people heard them.
