I love the way the Mick Rock images are described as "rarely seen"... 😂

Where's Mist to denounce this as another case of bandwagon-jumping?

Is this just a temporary thing or permanent?

Either way it’s hardly a new idea, Bowie themed bars have been done before.

Is it bandwagon jumping? Of course it is. Is it tacky? You bet! If we find ourselves in that area of London will we go to it and try out a Darkness & Disgrace? 100% we will.

Inevitable.

What next? Ronno’s Bar & Grill in Hull?

As well as the "rarely seen" Mick Rock images on the walls, I trust there'll be huge TV screens playing this clip on an endless loop:

Tell what though, I bet the famous TOTP Starman clip will be and the Hammersmith Odeon farewell speech. 😉

haha "rarely seen" pictures indeed.

To be fair it is literally a farts breath away from Heddon Street (which is always packed with Bowie fans) so I guess they are jumping on the me too bandwagon.

I (like a sucker) will go and buy a £10 pint of beer there...

I might have risked my liver at Oscar’s (absinthe and bitters) or Ginny’s bar (Bombay Sapphire on the rocks) too, but nothing could entice me to order a Tigers On Vaseline.
"Schtum!"

I'm going to London in October but will give this a very wide berth!
I'll make my own cocktail tonight, an 'Inspirations have I none' with no ice . . .

Why not? The Cafe Royal is really cool - I don't know about this Ziggy themed room, but the Green Bar is very smart. Live a little! ;-)

Have not been to London town for a couple of years - but this is certainly something for the next visit.

And hey, I could even order Tigers on Vaseline...
