If there was, we'd probably be talking about it, although Blammo said the other day on the Bnet forum the revamp to Bowienet is still happening anytime between now and Christmas, so that may coincide with some news of it.

i wouldn't believe a word out of Blammo's mouth. I'm sure Bowie got distracted and the book sitting unfinished in the vault.

I said before, I think it's a joke from Bowie who doesn't like his biographies because they intrude on his private life, so he's bringing out his own book, called 'Bowie objects', to send out a message.

Mist.

I think the project is an opportunity for Mr. Bowie to explore his many obsessions without actually going anywhere near his personal life.

A neat trick.

The whole thing is becoming another Bowie farce.

The man and his website are fast becoming a joke.

Bowienet is a joke and has been for years. 'Object' doesn't exist i'll wager. We are being treated like mugs. Bowie owes us nothing i agree...but a word from him now and again would be appreciated after all these years.

Bowie himself has become the ultimate lost Object we are searching for...

Personnaly I am not that interested in such a book and I also doubt whether it will see the light of day.

I'd love to hear anything from the man, but apart from an autobiography I am not interested in any other readings or even looking at pictures of some old devices he got his inspiration from. He'd better go find some new inspiration.

I really doubt that "Object" will ever come out ...

I mean - come on - didn't they even have in that "Illustrated Record" book that came out 20+ years ago an "excerpt" from Bowie's autobiography that he was writing in... um like '76/'77

And I mean - whatever happened to Ziggy 2002????

He's often said he gets bored with things quickly, so I guess he's probably got bored with this.

Frustrating? It sure is but he will be supplying the narrative and I am told that from what has been seen so far it is quite good, actually "great" and "very interesting" were phrases used.

It's coming apparently the hold is mostly contractual.

I'm looking forward to it as long as it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
