Let's just say I met the guy who has it (well must have had it, he was a key member in Chameleon), but it wasn't the right time to ask about the song. not in detail anyway. The subject cropped up, but during a recording session. There's a lot to achieve in a short time in these (it's not cheap, recording).
I've kicked myself over not trying harder to try to curry favour but let's face it, I knew then and knew now that I won't have been the only person hankering over getting the recording, and that's not why I was there.
He would have been aware of the power of Bowie's lawyers too over things getting out.

It would be lovely to hear, but...

There were a couple of snippets from 'Bombers' from Glastonbury on the Radio Geronimo site. I never heard them, and I read they were taken down ages ago.

Just looked at the site just now, no sign of them, and even more tellingly, there are links to the some of the tracks from the original Glastonbury Fayre LP, but not to the (studio re-recorded) version of Supermen. That could just be it wasn't on youtube or wherever when they set up the site, or that Bowie's lawyers frightened them off.

I think the Bombers snippets have circulated though. Don't think I've got them but I need to sort out my Bowie files soon - someone will have them, pretty sure of that.
