A spooky coincidence?

We all know that Bowie would see or hear something and, however insignificant it was, potentially use it (or re-use it) for something many years later, such as the Song of Norway t-shirt in the Where Are We Now video.  But could this be another example?

I was looking on YouTube for Bowie videos the other day, and re-watched Bowie's performance on the Marc TV show in 1977 - there are various cuts of it on YouTube, including the full show.  In between performances there was a rather rough looking cartoon animation of an audience.  Not sure if they just used the same one for every show or not, but I couldn't help notice what the character in the middle of the front row on the last (Bowie) episode - he's wearing a rather familiar white t-shirt with a large black star on it...

I know its very simple and probably common design, but could Bowie have been thinking of it for the design of the album?  After all, the cleverer parts of the cover design were hidden in there...

Yes, I know I'm probably crazy though!

He had one hella mental filing system, even if he claimed he lost all of 1975.

But do you think Bowie would have seen the animation, as it probably was edited into the show afterwords?

But this was nothing to do with Bowie. The animated audience sequence was dreamt up by Marc Bolan and Granada TV director Nicholas Ferguson.

Ok , that's cool. I get that.
But the Dave's 'might' have harvested it as a future interest...
On a somewhat related note...
I keep seeing cornfields and scary scare crows in movies I watch... Along with weirdly (assumed) deceased cosmonauts/astronetts.

It's called synchronicity. I think Bowie himself would've been into all things metaphysical like that.

As many here are aware Hamilton the musical extensively used a black star variant in promo etc, as well.

I think I'm right in saying that the guitar being played at the end of Lazarus was the one Marc gave him after this programme? Just adding to the link suggested.
