yea - I'm with you Wok

I'm genuinely excited about "Lodger" - it's been years since he mentioned doing a new mix

...as a side note:

So - when the first box was available - the DB Store had a unique bonus for ordering (Pin Ups Radio Show)
and the second had those slip mats

...and nothing for the third? or have they just not announced it yet?

There's a new, previously unseen photo from Hansa included in the box so that's it, I'm sold, I'm buying it!

Mist.

I Wonder why the Bowie Store aren't selling this direct? Just links to resellers.

Well spotted, got WCIBN last week and just bought 5 years , both just over £25 each , these are the Hong Kong editions that are silver discs

Cannot argue with that price it does take a few months for the Hong Kong cds to be available to buy

Got it through today. CD's in mini-album covers with spines. CD's themselves silver pressed and with the Bowie labels that the official one's have. Inside cardboard covers and plastic protectors. Original inner sleeve designs.

Hardback booklet included.

Only thing missing was there was no cardboard inner sleeve for TMWSTW (but it does have the plastic protector).

Nice.

A bit confusing.

The printing is the only thing that lets it down a bit. The cover of TMWSTW is the poorest. You can't make out the credits on the back (maybe because its embossed?). All legible in the booklet so far although some of it is not as distinctive picture-wise as the real thing.

A good effort though.

The mini LP packaging is cute for the CD box, but the tiny clear sleeves that hold the CD's can never keep their shape; a lot easier just to throw them away and use the paper sleeve also inserted.

Presentation-wise it isn't any worse than the previous boxes, however for the sake of a clean digital library I think I'll be adding Ryko tracks & the Heroes EP to the end of Re:call 3's tracklisting so all the bonus stuff from the era is in one place.

Biggest critique is the non-2017 version of Stage just seems like useless filler unless you really loved the original tracklisting, a waste of two discs of space.
