'Under Review'?? That's one of these cheap things where the journalists don't have a clue, such as 'Iggy and Bowie recorded an album called 'Nightclubbing'. I'll bet you any money that the number one Jam fan, Paolo Hewitt turns up on it, since he's 'Always been a huge fan of Bowie' and he has a book to plug. Don't buy it, they all turn up on torrent sites eventually.

B'stards.

Mist.

That Palo Hewitt bloke will probably be in it

Nowt wrong with Poundland btw, I do my weeks shopping in there. It does one good to mix it with the plebs every now and again just to see how the other half lives. It keeps ones feet on the ground, what .

Next week it's a trip to Primark to get 8 T Shirts, 3 pairs of jeans, some trainers, and a leather jacket all for a tenner! I say!

it's clear for me, if your read amazon review :

"This film documents Bowie's career from the start, but focuses most notably on the period during which he made his second album (initially, simply called David Bowie but later re-christened Space Oddity to avoid confusion with his debut), his third, the critically acclaimed Man Who Sold The World and the pinnacle of his pre-Ziggy career, Hunky Dory. The film includes contributions from many Bowie associates from this period, including drummer John Cambridge, guitarist and harmony vocalist John Hutchinson, guitarist Keith Christmas, Bob Solly from early Bowie outfit The Mannish Boys, early mentor John Peel (in one of his very last interviews), DJ and early Bowie champion Annie Nightingale, plus many others. The programme also includes rare, seldom seen archive footage and photographs plus a host of other features which all together make for the finest film yet on this period of David Bowie's life and career."

I don't know what they mean about "rare" but very often things like that are only rare for people who listen to Bowie for the first time

i do find this pre ziggy period very interesting.
so i might be tempted even tho i don't tend to buy this unofficial stuff, but the early years of bowie always fascinate me.

I mentioned this DVD on the BW News page last month.

It's from Chrome Dreams re-release with different title and different cover

Nothing new at all

Dunno about anyone else but this re releasing of previous releases under a different name and cover is really starting to piss me off! What makes it worse is sites like Amazon etc don't even inform in their product descriptions that this is the case

Surely they are guilty of miss selling and should all be prosecuted?
