So Darknessofeden made a good point to me, if we can't save the forum from death, then I can at least use it as a blog for myself.

So after my rather ignoble retreat years ago from the forum I sold all my s*** off. Orks, Guard, Marines, Dwarfs, everything.
(Minus a single box of Fire Warriors that I have never been able to find again)
This of course puts me at a bit of a disadvantage now that I have returned and am preparing to play 8th edition. Borrowing models can only sustain me so far after all. (Though my gaming partner has more than enough s*** to keep me up and running against all challengers mind.)

All that aside, I sold everything. Since then, I have collected miniatures mostly for collecting or for use in DnD, up until I decided to take the Oldhammer route of playing 6th edition again. I jumped up, excitement like I haven't felt in years ran through me as I built armies out of my assorted miniatures and got my gaming group amped up, only for one of them to pull me into Age of Sigmar kicking and screaming and guiltily having a damn good time. He has now pulled me back into 40k with 8th edition, which brings me back to my previous point of borrowing s*** from him and how it can't sustain me.

I have avoided sci-fi for awhile now. (Minus Star Wars and Star Trek of course) I backed Raging Heroes TGG before I went mad and sold everything having planned to add female soldiers to my guard and received them after it was over but, that means after much junk moving I located them and started building. It is a rag-tag bunch of miniatures, but it is a damn start.

Photo in my Onedrive because I suck and am a Luddite.

After all, what is a forum but a collection of tiny blogs!?

Good luck with that whilst I'm organizing my own return. I've a plentiful sum of things to sort out, so lets get to it!

I believe with 8th many guard players like me will return (I was actually here before with the name Fernando Mooncry but I lost the registered e-mail and forgot the password, so that account is lost for good and I also like this name better....), I myself will dust off and completely repaint my army (just bought a 10 man squad from eBay last week out of 8th edition compulsive overjoy kkkkk), add some Paperhammer tanks to test things (or maybe as permanent models, as the price of GW stuff here in Brazil is absurd, about 210% GW retail price when you factor distributor profit, store profit and import charges)

A little sad to see the forums so abandoned. Here in Brazil some forums died too as people shifted from 40k to other games, there are still some players on a nearby town but it's 8 or less and maybe 45-50 total nation wide, but at least now I can buy abroad, I didn't have an international credit card before..... I'm anxious to see your army and soon I'll start my army blog and repaint everything

I got some ebay auctions running at the moment so I should be back up to snuff soon enough. Building all these fancy resin and metal minis is driving me half mad though. Simple plastic abusable minis are so much more fun to build...
