Who else loves dinosaurs. Let's all post dinosaurs. I became a palaeontologist for a reason. LETS ALL POST DINOSAURS.

This is the best thread.

(Somebody move this to Animals and Nature. I don't know what the hell I was doing.)

(Shouldn't this be over on the animals side of the forum, doth? They weren't monsters after all (doth they did lead people to imagine griffins, dragons and giants), but real (awesome) animals
Sure am! *therizinosaur hi-five* Yeah, I realized where I posted afterwards. I'm sure somebody will move it.

I'm surprised at the number of palaeontologists on Bogleech.

Are you familiar with our theme song? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7zo2zY1Zqg

Also, triceratops have became a lot cuter since it was discovered they are all immature torosaurus( doth you have to amazed at the rapid and extensive bone growth they went through), doth I will be sad to loose the name, it's a nostalgic childhood thing, but I'm sure it will stick around for the next 20 years, people still say brontosaurus and they have been proved to be a fake, for what, 15 years now

I am! I'm actually pretty skeptical on the whole Torosaurus/Triceratops business. I'm pretty sure there was a counter-argument that decimated the entire theory. I do support that Dracorex is probably a juvenile Pachycephalosaurus though. How long have you been one, just curious? I got my pHd two years ago.

I'm just getting started, handed in the MSc thesis late October, got the certificate a couple of weeks ago, trying to find some kind of a job but no such luck yet, the museum I used to volunteer at will try to set me up with a picking assignment next month, hopefully something that will lead to some money

Neat! If there is any positions opening at Carnegie, I'll be sure to let you know! Also, I demand you find the most complete Cetiosaurus ever, it must be your goal.

Fucking dinosaurs, man.

I'm not a paleontologist, but dinosaurs are fucking awesome.

I have a class about dinosaurs at college right now, and I have to write an educational children's book about Therizinosaurus. If I feel like scanning it all when it's done, I'll post it here.

My favorite Dinosaur was the mighty Allosaurus. But alas, they have all fallen at the talons of the fearsome duck army. Now the only warriors that remain are chickens. They are the only hope of defeating the mighty ducks.

I like dimetrodons a lot.

Also any and all aquatic dinosaurs fascinate me.
