In February of 2012 I drove a thousand plus miles to Denver on mostly snow covered roads to retrieve a blowgun brought back from Samarinda, Kalimantan that is at least fifty years old and quite possibly closer to a hundred. I will eventually become comfortable shooting it but only because it is as hard as iron and can withstand the bumps that occur in competition settings despite careful handling. The quiver that came with it on the other hand is showing it's age and will be treated as a museum piece (admire from a distance but please don't touch etc..)

That is why I was delighted today when a long awaited pair of substitute quivers arrived that were custom crafted in the same general neck of the woods. The dimensions are pretty much perfect for the darts that I got in 2012 I'll make duplicates from local materials for shooting. The ones pictured will go back on the shelf. Thanks a million Crossliner, they're real beauties!
