OHIO -- Goldkette Unit at Castle Farm

Jean Goldkette's Victor Recording Orchestra, consisting of fifteen men, has played a four week's engagement at Marshall's New Castle Farm, following a tour through Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Pennsylvania, and two weeks in New York, making Victor discs. The leader and arranger of this unit is Eddie Sheasby. The members are Frank Trumbeaur, sax, clarinet and bassoon; Don Murray, sax, clarinet, oboe, orphichlied; Stanley Riker, sax, clarinet and flute; Feddie Farrar, first trumpet; Ray Ludwig, second trumpet; Bix Biederbecke, third trumpet; Bill Rank, first trombone; Lloyd Turner, second trombone; Steve Brown, string bass and tuba; Howdy Quickshell, banjo; Chauncey Morehouse, drums and tympani; Irving Riskin, piano and harp; Chris Fletcher, violin and vocalist, and "Red" Ingle, violin and vocalist.

That's a press release circulated to numerous publications. At least one also included an interview with Eddie Sheasby. Interesting that no matter which pub picked it up, the spelling errors were never corrected.
