We know about Bix Carmichael and Bix Sandke. Any others?

"Leonard Charles Huia Lye (/5 July 1901 – 15 May 1980), was a Christchurch, New Zealand-born artist known primarily for his experimental films and kinetic sculpture." Wikipedia.

From Len Lye: A Biography by Roger Horrocks.
Len Lye was a jazz aficionado. "His favorite musicians were black with the exception of Bix Beiderbecke, Red Nichols and Benny Goodman."

Nick Dellow reminds me of Leon Bismark Offermann, the son of Emma Offermann, née Doering. Emma Doering/Doerring/Dorring/Doehring was

born in Germany in 1888 and immigrated to the US in 1897. She was listed in Bismark Beiderbecke's household as domestic in the 1906 Polk directory and as servant in the 1910 US census. Philip Evans and Linda Evans, "Bix - The Leon Bix Beiderbecke Story," refer to her as Bix's nanny.

Thanks, Nick.
