The Brewers are going to be aggressive with promoting Hiura because he's an advanced college bat.  Their only hesitation might be with his elbow issues but he's been healthy so far.

This is around the time that guys start getting promoted up through the various levels of A ball (or told it's time to go find another line of work, such as Home Depot or insurance sales) to make room for the guys getting drafted next week.

I think the Brewers have a priority in building on Hiura. After all they did pick him #9.They're gonna groom him and get him healthy so that once they need him, he'll be ready to make an immediate impact.

Dang, Home Depot... that's a harsh demotion.

Great start to his pro ball career only one year removed from college.  One more promotion puts him into the PCL and I can easily go watch him play.

You make more at Home Depot than you do in the indentured servitude of A ball.

That's true. One can make more money at Home Depot than most athletes out of college.

Biloxi plugged Hiura into the 3 hole and is starting him at second base. He's off to a decent start, hitting .333/.429/.417 after four games.

Hiura is off to a very good start at (AA) Biloxi. He's hitting .343/.400/.463 in 11 games and has been starting at second base and batting third in the lineup.
