The Delta Toronto is a brand new 46 floor hotel that anchors the new south financial district. Three big towers are in place on south Simcoe street. A really super location for the Air Canada Centre (concerts, Leafs, Raptors), the Roger's centre (BlueJays and lots of other events), the Aquarium, The Convention Centre, the CN Tower. All those venues can be walked to indoors on the Path system. It's not a long hike under the tracks and up to the theatre and restaurant districts. The Path will take you north as well, but it's a bit incomplete right now.
We had a south west corner room with a King bed and a freestanding tub against a 17th floor floor to ceiling window. Super sexy. New and friendly, but their clientele has not filled in yet, so they will be in the Priceline inventory for a while yet.

Great location if you want to be in the center of Toronto. It is next to the CN Tower, Rogers Center, ACC. The restaurant in the hotel was very good. The room is nice but not ideal if you are sharing with someone since the bathroom door is a translucent sliding door that provides little privacy. Also the shower water pressure was not great. That being said, I did decide to stay there again since it is a high end hotel overall in a great location at a very decent price (if bought through Priceline) for downtown Toronto. Parking at the hotel is expensive ($35 a day) but you are paying for the neighbourhood.
