While this is not a misrating, per se, I want to make reference to a hotel review posted at pub4.ezboard.com/fpriceli...D=82.topic which indicates that the only 2* hotel we've seen come up in this zone has air condition on only one floor. If this would be problematic for you in the summer time (it certainly would be for me), I would not recommend using Priceline for Dillon/Silverthorne.

It is my view that no hotel, regardless of where it is located, is deserving of a 4* rating if it doesn't have air conditioning. Priceline refers to 4* as "deluxe." Not being able to control the temperature in your room does not merit a "deluxe" rating.

I do not think Priceline should allow the participation of any hotel that is not air conditioned, as the health of some people depend on it. If I got a non-air conditioned room, I would request a refund.

I just stayed at a purportedly 4-star hotel in Munich and complained because they had a non-functioning wall thermostat and a ceiling fan only. Nights there were at the 80+ degree level, so lack of functioning air conditioning made it impossible to sleep. Priceline's response to me was that the hotel did not have air conditioning, and that no air conditioning is promised at any quality level, so that the hotel is properly rated, and no refund is due.
