Won for $145 per night.
Started bidding at $80 yesterday, used all my rebids uo to $120, no dice.
Today started bidding at $125, no luck. At $130 they said I may win if I bid $150. Bid at $135 and $140 - no luck. Won at $145.

I suppose I may have won it at a cheaper price if I'd split up the dates to weekdays and weekend, but am happy with the price!

Hello Ataline,
Thanks for sharing your results, congrats on your win! I assume that you really wanted something in the Orchard area? The Marriott is the classic high end hotel in Singapore in a great location, you will enjoy it. Also enjoy your savings, the lowest "book direct" price I could find using a 1.36 ex rate was $286USD per night, so very close to 50% off list price!

You may not realize it, but you also will save on some local taxes and fees by booking through PL.

Have a great trip!

Thanks!

No, I didn't realise that you save on taxes - is it automatic?

Also - yes, we wanted somewhere in Orchard. We're travelling with a baby and are hoping to minimize the number of taxi trips we take, and I'll be spending lots of time shopping at Orchard!
