great hotel

<t>This is one of my favorite hotels in NY. I've stayed here both with and without Priceline and they were equally nice either way. The woman who runs the giftshop even remembers me from one visit to the next. One warning: if you're traveling to the airport, the bellmen and doormen will try to reall...

Wondering if Priceline is appropriate for this trip

I'm going to a conference at the Opryland and want to stay downtown and take the bus out there. My question - are the hotels near Vanderbilt in close proximity to the downtown transit mall, or should I just book something right downtown without priceline?

Re: bidding assistance tucson resort, 4/13/-18

I got Loews Ventana Canyon Resort for $110. I'm quite thrilled with this rate; it's a wonderful resort. Thanks for your help.

question about cape may bidding

I'm interested on bidding for either 4* or 3*. Your NJ hotel list has only one 4* for cape may. Where should I get names of hotels to check on their rates before asking for bidding advice? Thanks.

Strategy question for November stay

<t>I'm going to a conference in Indianopolis Nov. 18-21. My preliminary research shows that the 3* and 4* hotels downtown where the conference is are pretty well sold out. My second choice is to stay somewhere nice in another location and rent a car. <br/> <br/> Here's my question: since I'd prefer ...

Re: NYC Midtown West -- NY Hilton & Towers 4*

<t>I had a perfectly lovely stay. I checked in at a kiosk in the lobby in less than a minute, had a nice big room with 2 beds. My one meal from room service was expensive but excellent. The cheese plate included about a pound of cheese that I munched on for days, as well as a whole little box of abo...

Re: San Francisco/Union Square E - Renaissance Stanford Cour

<t>I found this to be a lovely hotel. The one drawback was being at the top of steep hills, but I got a transit pass and used the cable cars; all 3 pass the hotel. They were occasionally crowded enough that I had to ride standing up on the outside, but that was fun, not scary.<br/> <br/> My theory w...

jersey city doubletree

<t>I stayed here for a Manhattan trip but wouldn't do so again. The room (all suites) was wonderful but it didn't seem like a 3* in other ways. The room service menu was very limited, but the bar/restaurant didn't look appealing and there wasn't even a newsstand/gift shop. There was a walk of severa...
