Rome Central Hotel Morgana 4*

First, Rome is such a large city it needs more zones as "Rome Central" covers areas that are not places that tourists visit or likely would stay on their own. This hotel is located next to the train terminal. First thing you see next to the termini is police to catch pick pockets. The hotel is approximately two blocks from there. There is prostitution in this area and I am sure robbers in this neighborhood too. It is not located close to any major toursit attractions, some outer center attractions but a little bit of a trek to the most popular places tourists visit. We arrived at night and my partner who lives in Napoli did not want to walk down the streets and that says a lot:) There are restaurants that are good within a few blocks of the hotel, the hotel check in agent will guide you to nice spots. As for the hotel itself it is okay, especially for the price (around $140) with the euro conversion. Hotel employees were very cordial. The room was clean and the lighting was good. I just wanted to warn anyone that wins this hotel that it is in a bad neighborhood and be very careful when walking around here as it is not safe:) Hope this helps.
