They've now finished working on the hotel, so all the rooms are renovated, even the ones they give to Priceline guests. So, Priceline has upgraded the hotel from 3.5* to 4*, which seems fair. I paid $115 for a mid-week stay, which seems fair.
I'm not that impressed by the renovations, mind you -- there is a faux-1920s theme, which they can't quite pull off, and the carpet in the hallways is positively hard on the eyes. But everything is new and clean, and the rooms are large. Plus, the location is absolutely perfect, just steps from Walnut Street, Rittenhouse Square, and (most important) Miel Patisserie. So, I was pleased.
