You can find the answer in our Sacramento hotel list; the Sacramento Downtown zone is up-to-date.

Please start your Priceline bids/puchases from one of our Priceline links (the links in my signature, the "hotel keys" picture at the top, or the banner on the right side of the screen) if you're not already doing so.

Howdy Sheryl....I ask because there is a discrepancy with regards to winning posts, that say that the Sheraton is a 4* and the Hotel List which labels it as a 3.5*.
Which one is it?

Sorry Sheryl, I'm still confused. The BFT list says that the Sheraton is a 3.5* but there are winning posts that say it is a 4*. Which one is correct?

As I said, the hotel list is up-to-date, by which I meant that I had re-checked the Priceline ratings of the hotels. As Sheryl said, if you want to be absolutely sure of a hotel's rating, check Priceline's website; that will give you a definitive answer. If you are having a hard time finding the hotel through a search of Priceline's retail listings, just google " Priceline"; it should be one of the top results. Posts of accepted bids for a hotel reflect the hotel's rating at the time the bid was made; Priceline can change that rating at any time, which is what happened here.

It's really a shame that you didn't read our previous responses and digest exactly what they said. There is clearly a reading problem here.

@SacBound: The Sheraton Sacramento was a longtime 4* and was changed to a 3.5* in the past year. It and the Embassy Suites were the only ones showing in the 3.5 star category in Downtown Sac, however The Sterling Hotel http://sterlinghotelsacramento.com now appears in 3.5* bids, and it IS NOT a 3.5* property, a 2.5* at best. I've made a few complaints to Priceline - hope that helps.

SacBound posted this question months ago and I'm sure he/she is long gone. The Sterling Hotel could come up in a 3.5* bid, but I don't think it's very likely. The hotel has only 16 rooms and judging by the Express Deal I managed to find for it (I think), it's Priceline rate is high enough that you'd probably be upgraded to a 4* first. Have you actually received this hotel through Name Your Own Price? If so, please post the details in a separate topic.
