September 29, for 1 night, 2 rooms.  I am confused about the Galway zone on both NYOP and Express Deals, and I cannot find a map that shows the boundaries.  On the regular PL listings, hotels are shown as "Galway" that I consider way out of town.  The Express Deal tonight sounds good - 3* , 9+ , free pkg, bed choice and internet for only $71.  I'm hesitant without knowing that it would actually be in Galway.

Considering bidding, the Park House Hotel and the House Hotel both have specials for my date, a Monday night, of 119€.  The Park includes bfast and parking, the House only bfast with 8€ for parking.  They are both 4*.  Galway Bay hotel, $138 on PL regular listings and also noted as 4*, is quite far from town, and on Hotwire, I believe it is a separate zone .

The G Hotel, presumably the only 5* in Galway is $208 with bfast and parking included.  It's interesting that the regular listings include hotels in Galway city and Galway county, such as the Glenlo Abbey, which is noted in Galway but is actually in Bushypark, Galway county.  I would be very displeased if I got it.

So, I guess my questions are what is the Galway zone and what is the Express Deal 3*?  Thanks, Edna

You'll need to ask Priceline if the zone parameters aren't defined. As to the identity of the hotel, I'd suggest you use Priceline retail. Please let us know what you get.
Please place all of your Priceline bids through our Priceline link.
Please check rates at Hotwire and make your bookings through our Hotwire link.

Priceline's response - "When you request a hotel room in Galway, Ireland and no map is provided
for you, we will search for a hotel located within city limits."

So I googled Galway city limits and it is a very large area, much larger than the city center or even the city plus its outlying areas.  So I will not be bidding or going the Express Deals route as the savings are not large enough to justify getting lodging far from the city.   Ah, well.
