From my sister who is staying there on a Priceline bid:
I would never have chosen this one and it is awesome. I've stayed in other boutique hotels but this one has a few touches that are even better.
For example the room has a walk in closet. Enough space to get dressed inside the closet with the door shut. In fact the fridge and ice bucket and glasses and the safe are all in the closet.
Not to mention the room is gorgeously appointed to the nitty gritty details. The wallpaper, curtains, lamps etc are all unique and carefully chosen. The only thing missing is counter space in the bathroom which is usually the case with an older property but it's a tiny concession. The room is extremely spacious so that's a non issue. And there's a very large dresser so plenty of space to put whatever I might have put out on a counter. Also the wifi is free I am shocked.
Also, and maybe this is a northeast thing- there's a filtered water station on the guest floors to refill water bottles same time when u get ice for the bucket. And the water bottles in the room are free also a surprise.
The toiletries in the room are so popular they created a small retail space in the lobby that sells them.
The location is outstanding. Right across the street from Max Brenners the amazing chocolate restaurant we went last night after dinner for chocolate crepes. Our lobby has a lovely fireplace so always has people sitting there enjoying that space.
I give this place 4.5 stars for sure. It is perfect.
