Overall was a very nice hotel, and I would say is accurately rated at 3 star. The main reason for posting this review is as follows. This hotel is located right near highway 285, and half of the rooms face the highway. All the rooms with king size beds (or so I was told), face this direction. As you can imagine with Atlanta traffic, the noise can be VERY impressive at any time of the day or night. I was given a room facing the highway, and I didn't last 15 minutes before I asked to be moved. They were extremely nice about it, and gave me a room with 2 double beds on the other side of the hotel. There was no problems with highway noise on the other side. The person at the front desk said that many people commonly complain because of the noise and asked to be moved. The remainder of my stay was very pleasant, service was excellant, rooms were standard size.

The hotel is a good 3 star but the room service is terrible. I ordered a meal at 10 pm and was told it would there in 30 min. An hour later, still no room service and they lied about the waiter being on his way. Canceled the service with Front Desk. No apologies from the hotel.

Successful bid for 3.5* Wyndham - Galleria - one night 6/9/13 - $41. Checked into a dated hotel. Went to room 715. Carpets filthy dirty. Room very cold. Turned thermostat up to 81 degrees. Waited an hour and a half - no change. Called front desk. Sent personnel up - checked air temp coming out of register - 61 degrees. Worked in ceiling and said "pipe turned wrong way - would be good in 6-8 minutes". Plugged in cell phone charger in wall outlet and discovered bugs on the floor behind sofa and massive amount of dirt and dust. Hadn't been cleaned since God knows when. Too late to check out. Went to bed and woke up at 4:30AM - freezing in the room.

Upon check out - told front desk clerk about room - called manager over - told him the same things. He apologized. Obviously he can't give a refund. Called Priceline after arrival at destination. They called the hotel - manager told them "no bugs just crumbs on the floor". Yeah, right - I wasn't seeing things. Manager offered a free night on return trip. Why would I EVER stay in a hotel that is filthy and bug infested even if free ! ! ! !


Priceline offered bonus cash of $25 to be used on Express Deals only at the rate of $5 per night - no bargain there.


No way this hotel is a 3.5* - 2* at best ! ! ! Got a 3* through Express Deals for $49 minus $5 for a net cost of $44 plus fees etc. VERY nice Hilton Garden Inn NW - spotlessly clean.
