4* Union Square East (Nob Hill) -- Villa Florence 10/19-10/22/16 $237

There are some hotels in Downtown San Francisco that restrict occupancy to 2 people per room and have only one double bed.

Trying to book from Oct 19th - Oct 22nd checkout - Union Square East (Nob Hill) - 4 Star

I've bid up to $222 dollars for several days using all of the the free rebid zones at this point.

4 Star Express Deal is currently sitting at $261

Current average for most of the 4 Star rooms in that area are approx $340

I've been hammering away for 2 weeks at this point, with no acceptance?

Any ideas/help?

I've also bid from the link provided.

You're bidding way too much lower than the Express Deal. The average discount is 5%-10%. Sounds like there's a convention.

Please post all of your bids and continue to bid through our link to Priceline.

Why is $222 your limit? What is your backup if all of your bids fail?

$222 was my  last bid, I was going up in $2 and $7 increments.  Been hammering away for a while now, so I'll continue to up my bid.  My backup plan is to just book through hotel.

Thank you for the update, and for bidding through our Priceline link. It's often a good idea to make a backup reservation that you can cancel without penalty, just in case rates go up as you get closer to check-in. That gives you the option of waiting for a better deal. If that doesn't happen, though, it would end up costing you more in the end. This one could go either way, so without any backup I think locking in now was reasonable.
