I had a day to fill before a room opened at a B&B in Aruba so I tried for one night.  Started at $130 and was offered a free rebid for $158.  Total $183 with taxes.  Standard website price is $430 for that night - a great deal for high season!

Thank you for posting your bid. That certainly is a great deal; however, Priceline will always accept less than their counteroffer. You could have undercut it tomorrow.

Please place your Priceline/Hotwire bids/purchases through the link in my signature or by clicking the Priceline/Hotwire banners on the right side of the screen. And please keep Priceline in mind for your conventional travel bookings as well.

Please update your email address in your Yuku profile if it's no longer current and please post all of your bids when you obtain them.
Please place all of your Priceline bids through our Priceline link.
Please check rates at Hotwire and make your bookings through our Hotwire link.

Ah yes, I probably could have saved $10 or so, but since Aruba is only one zone which excludes free rebids, I thought locking in the good deal was better than trying to ease the price up over the next few days and risk the metrics changing. Also, I have indeed seen Priceline accept less than their counteroffer, but I've also seen them not accept the counteroffer at all!

At any rate thanks for your facilitation of this community and I will continue to place my bids through your links.

Just wanted to make sure you knew. We have two distinct types of users. One that must get the absolute lowest price and another like me who just wants a good deal. If you are sayinig you placed this bid through our link to Priceline, thank you.
