How many free re-bids do you have? The Priceline click through is at the end of all my posts, on the key and door icon in our logo and the search box at the top of the right hand column.

It's not about the free re-bids at this point.  I have bid multiple times up to a price that is more than I wanted to pay.  I have bid up to $241 for a total of around $1300 for a 4.5 star.  I can get a 4 star for $890 on express deals.  On another travel site I found a 3.5 for $850.  I could go to Hotwire for a 3 star and pay $680.  I have not had as much success with the quality at Hotwire hotels so I am not so keen to book there.

You asked for my help so I'm not sure what you're asking for if you don't want to provide the info. requested in order to provide one so I would suggest that you bid 10% less than the Express Deal and you can bid higher tomorrow if you're not successful today or use a free re-bid today. Other than that, I really don't know what advice you are expecting me to offer.

I booked a 4 star through express deals.  I got the Grand Bahia Principe.  Total for 4 nights all inclusive with insurance was $890.  I saved about $200.  It has a casino, indoor pool, on the beach, and business center.  The reviews look decent compared to some of the other hotels I was considering.

Thank hyou for posting your bid. How high did you bid for a 4* today before purchasing the Express Deal? Did you remember to purchase through our link to Priceline?

Yes I bid through your priceline link.  I did not bid for a 4*.  There was no guarantee of all inclusive at that level.  I bid up to $241 for a 4.5*.  The total was almost $400 more than I ended up spending.  I saved some money, we'll see if it was worth it when I get there.  You mentioned in an earlier post you didn't think there was any opaque inventory for me.  I think you may have been correct.  In another zone I was bidding the options decreased in the past few days indicating to me that the hotels that once were available were no longer eligible or available.
