Priceline had The Restoration at $399 a night. I went through your Priceline link and bid for my own price. The Restoration is a fabulous hotel. We had a large living room with powder room, galley kitchen with large refrigerator, king-bedroom, huge bath with double sinks, tub, and separate shower. Staff is great; we sat at poolside (small) and enjoyed the night sky. Amenities are evening turndown with cookies, afternoon wine and cheese. Added bonus: each morning a small picnic hamper is delivered filled with the choices we indicated on a door hangar, croissants, hard-boiled eggs, country ham, local cheese, greek yoghurt with granola, smoked salmon, fruit, and other items that we did not choose. In December we stayed at the Belmond, and while it is elegant, the additional room at the Restoration is so nice to have.
