Was looking for a 3* Hotel in either Overland Park or Kansas City South.

Started bidding at 35 and then went up by $2 increments, $45 was going to be my last bid.

Total for 2 rooms for 2 nights was 180 + 41.92 for taxes & fees = $221.92 total

The rate on the hotel's website was $102.

Priceline was offering an express deal for $51 for a 3* in Overland Park.

I used the BFT link at the top of the webpage.

I was a bit surprised to get the Holiday Inn, because they were one of the more expensive 3* hotels.  Hyatt Place had an advance purchase rate of $67, and next there were several hotels at $80 a night.  Holiday Inn was listed at $102 per night.  I was hoping to get Hyatt Place, but I think I got a good price.

Thank you for placing your bid through our link to Priceline. As indicated in our Hotel FAQ, it's not uncommon to not get the least expensive hotel just like it's not uncommon to be upgraded. Hotels that have lower retail rates often have higher Priceline rates and the best deals for Saturday checkins come at the last minute.

Was looking for a 3* Hotel in either Overland Park.

Started bidding at 45, received a counter offer for $58.  I used a free rebid zone to bid $48, then $50.

Total for 2 rooms for 2 nights was $200 + $45.92 for taxes & fees = $245.92 total

The rate on the hotel's website was $123.

Priceline was offering an express deal for $85 for a 3* in Overland Park.

I used the BFT link at the top of the webpage.

Our plans changed last minute, and so we needed to extend our stay in Overland Park (or else I would have just added more nights to my bid a few days ago).  We'll have one more bid to post for 2/19 - 2/22 (but just one room this time).  I think we'll wait to bid until we get there, just to see how we like the Holiday Inn.

After checking in, we did another set of bids. I started at $45, another counter offer at $58. So, I then bid $48, then $50, and my offer was accepted again at $50.

We used your link for Priceline. I edited the title to reflect this latest bid, the only difference being that we only got one room this time.

We're super excited, as, upon check-in, they upgraded us to a two room suite.

Thanks so much. Is your name now on that suite?
