Yes, I used your link.
I wasn't expecting to get Adam's Mark as the bid I selected wasn't showing free Wi-Fi and indoor pool.
It might have been because I bid late in the afternoon of the day before the day of travel??

That was a bid.
When I bid for 3 star downtown Buffalo,  the amenities displayed were just health club and business center.
By my reckoning was The Double Tree downtown Buffalo. I wasn't very enthusiastic about that as I was looking for swimming pool/wifi.
It just happen I got what I wanted even if that wasn't displayed when I put the bid.
Why I bid on something I didn't want? I don't know. I just put  a lousy price and it was accepted (second bid after raising 1 dollar using a free re-bid zone).

I think you were setting yourself up for disappointment but fortunately it didn't work out that way. For Priceline bidders, price almost always prevails. Most of us are cheapies.
