Used link above

Bid 8 days before trip

First set of Bid
4* Monterey $110
rebid Monterey+Marina-Seaside $120
rebid Monterey+Marina-Seaside+Pacific Grove $130
rebid Monterey+Marina-Seaside+Pacific Grove+Salinas $140
Failed

New Bid (started over from homepage, by using your link)
Rechecked all zones, found Carmel highest * went from 4* to 3*
3.5* Monterey $90
rebid Monterey+Marina-Seaside $100 failed
got counteroffer to increase to $120
rebid $105 and got it

I'm thinking this is a good deal.  Then I read on old threads that some people got Casa Munras for $78-83. Granted they were not in peak summer and a year old threads, but wondering now if I got a good deal.  I checked a bunch of hotels website directly before I started bidding, even La Quinta in Seaside was $194/night.

Either way this was a good first experience using BFT.  Thanks Sheryl and BFT.

Thank you for placing your bid through our link to Priceline. Bids for different dates, especially from years ago, are totally irrelevant to your bid. All that's relevant are retail rates for your exact dates. That's why it's so important to check available rates before you bid.

Please update your email address in your Yuku profile and please post all of your bids when you obtain them.
Please place all of your Priceline bids through our Priceline link.

Thanks Sheryl, good to know old prices are irrelevant. I did check several retail rates from the hotel websites. They ranged from $194-500.

I updated my email address this morning before I posted my original message. I did post all my bids. What info did I miss? Let me know and I can add more info.

Okay, thanks for clarifying. I haven't used Priceline in awhile, haven't really traveled.
