I got the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel on an Express deal for $176 for 2 night Dec 25-27 Thursday - Sat for 2 rooms today. Total was 704 + 138 (taxes) -49.28 (7% coupon I got in an email) = 792.72
The listed amenities were: Guest rating of 7+, indoor/outdoor pool, restaurant, fitness center, free internet
Also listed at the bottom was mandatory $23 a night fee.
Based on the nightly fee I was pretty sure it was the Aston that is listed in the current hotel listing, and my research. I had bid on a 4* and 3.5* in separate bids that had failed. A hotel that I was going to get my refundable backup sold out before I reserved my rooms so I was a bit panicked. I probably could have waited longer to bid but I wanted to stay in my budget, get a good hotel and just have my rooms booked. Now I can relax
I used the links on the biddingfortravel.com page. Thanks for all the great information on this board.

Resort fees are prevalent in certain zones. Keep in mind that some hotels charge excessive resort fees which you may be unable to dispute as Priceline now states on their website that these fees are your responsibility.
