I may actually be getting old. I remember when new records were all about the music.

well the barns and noble RED vinyl and spotify GREEN vinyl have secured Macca's first number 1 in the US since TUG OF WAR in 1982
if only the UK had introduced a YELLOW and PURPLE equivalent it may not have faltered at No:3
we would also have had a full spectrum of colours too
but congrats to Macca, that's a wonderful achievement

There is a EU/ UK orange/blue version, similar to the US orange/blue press (at least the colours look more like that than yellow/purple). See https://www.discogs.com/Paul-McCartney- ... e/12549262 . It could be ordered via the UK PM shop as a pre-order but is sold out now.
If you count EU and US pressings there is 10 different versions of this double LP. That’s 57 minutes of music on 20LPs...still it’s a terrrific album imo. Some of Macca’s best tunes in 25 years and a nice mix between “old” and “modern” production.
Curious if the announced deluxe box set will be released..

I think the US orange and blue edition is the same as the EU -- having an EU manufacturing statement on the label.
Then there is red/red (Barnes & Noble), and green/green (Spotify), and black/black.
I have not seen black or colored one-record sets.
Oh, but collectors will need to make sure that their copies have the collectible STICKER on the shrink wrap. There's a different sticker for each edition.

You are right Frank, there are no single LP sets. The black versions is a double LP (140 gram vinyl in single pocket sleeve or 180 gram in fold-out sleeve).

The orange/blue editions are different in the US and EU ! The US version has an FBI warning on the label (https://www.discogs.com/Paul-McCartney- ... e/12551850), the EU doesn’t (https://www.discogs.com/Paul-McCartney- ... e/12497648).

That's not the label that I saw, Servi. Apparently the one you just linked to is the only REAL US copy.
I looked back at the copy I saw for sale. The photos of the COVER were of their (sealed) US copy, but the label was an (open) EU copy.

The ultimate Egypt Station collector’s item is the handnumbered USA test pressing single of “Come on to me / I don’t know”, of which 200 copies were distributed by Capitol in June. Have you seen it, Frank ?
