The Unknown Soldier.

We traveled from near and far,
In trains and planes and cars,
Your brothers in arms are here to say,
You will never be alone were ever you lay.

Rest at ease your job is done,
You are laid to rest and second to none,
The bugle plays with respect in tune,
And with bowed heads our love is true.

No more alone and all forlorn,
Your family now extends beyond dawn,
The light that shines will lead you too,
The resting place with things to do.

Side by side when living,
Now side by side when passed,
Your comrades are now all with you,
And friends and foes at last.

May God bless you and keep you by his side.

Thank you. x
