Thinking about going to Carlisle Bay for a couple of afternoons it's only a short bus ride from Pirates Inn, only time we where there was last year when we went to Diagnostic Medical Service clinic down the road from Carlisle Bay, we did stop into the boatyard to look around but they wanted a entrance fee so we didn't go in, besides the Boatyard what else is there to do there, looks like a nice long beach to walk

It is a lovely beach for a walk Will, it also has some of the finest, softest sand on the island. I think it is a lovely beach, usually calm so fabulous for swimming. You can also do snorkeling and diving trips, hire jet ski's etc. There is a big speed boat that seems to operate from that beach too. We usually hire a few chairs, have a few beers and a cutter. There is the boatyard but we never sit there, not really my thing jumping about on the sea inflatables
