I know I probably will never see this with the way the economy is, which way if any would you like to see the South Coast boardwalk extended, I think cost wise towards the Hilton would be cheapest

I would like to see it extended and agree that costs wise towards the Hilton would be cheapest BUT , in that direction it is already easy to walk along the beach all the way to the Boatyard :D if you include walking across the Hilton carpark
Going the other way and starting just by Side Shore bar ending by the top of the Gap you wouldnt be taking up as much beach space and it would provide a safe way of walking without having to keep going back on the road and dealing with the narrow dodgy pavements.!

Have to slightly disagree about the ease of walking to the Hilton, bit rough on the feet there is that old foundation to go around, lot of buried stones and broken sea shells (because of my feet, have to watch where I walk ), but still like trying to walk it

They would have to build up and over with stairs or around the rocks at seal level at the Champers to Blue Orchids section. The wave action right there can be quite harsh if they built at sea level and I could see people getting battered while walking. Personally I would not like having a room at Blue Orchids that abuts the boardwalk. Then when you get to Worthing Beach I would hate to see the boardwalk intrude on the sand or act as a barrier to accessing the water so I would hope they would not build an actual 'board' walk where there is sand but rather build the 'board' sections around the rocky parts so you would go from sand to boards to sand....then they would have to build around Little Bay in front of Bellinis etc and that would probably encroach into the Bay somewhat. It would be nice to have it but not at the expense of the sand and beach.
