Based on our main Baseball Games website [ http://baseballgames.dreamhosters.com/ ]: this is the discussion board for questions, answers, and conversation about tabletop baseball games and related items made from the 1860s to today -- identification, availability, manufacturers and publishers, designers and inventors, rules, repair, market values, and more. Our focus is on the collection and research of pre-1970s games. Hiya fellers, the Forums (all the subforums here) have been excruciatingly slow and quiet lately,
even by the normally slow and quiet standard we're used to.  Your moderators are wondering
how much if any of that is due to the godawful mess that the new forum hosting service, Tapatalk,
has foisted on us since they recently took control of the service from our previous and far more
user-friendly hosts, FreeForums (see the July 2017 Update thread for more details).

Yes, Tapatalk has made quite a hash of things here, and at the worst, most inconvenient possible
time for your moderators.  We've been trying, when time allows, to remedy some of the problems,
and we'll be at it well into the fall, trying to restore full functionality bit by bit.  We see we have some
new members registered since the transition, so we're guessing that procedure is working properly,
but maybe it's blocked other folks who've tried to sign in -- we have no way of knowing unless you
tell us.

Is anyone having trouble accessing the forums here or reading the messages?  Is anyone finding it
impossible to post or send us a PM?  Maybe you've tried to contact us through the Forum software
and your messages aren't reaching us (our Forum PM inbox is empty).

If any of these problems are afflicting you, and you're unable to post a message to the Test Forum,
contact us directly via e-mail -- send to me, webmeister Butch, at this address:  Butch7999(at)aol.com
-- of course replacing (at) with @ ...  and I'll try to get things sorted for ya.

Hi Butch.
No problem accessing the forum.

Am working on my room and stuff - and haven't bought any games.
Hopefully things will pick up when summer turns to fall?

I will post some more pics at the National soon - but nothing really game oriented.  As said -
it was slim pickens and what I did see?  I wouldn't pay their asking or negotiated 10% off price.
Mike
