Something I would like to share to all Bingo fans out there about Ballys Beach Club.  I have several of these machines, 4 I think and was setting up one last week.  I didn't match up the serial numbers at the time between the head and the base for I didn't think it mattered.  Well after firing up the machine, I discovered a problem.  Most bally bingo machines, if you tilt the machine before firing the 1st ball, the shutter will close and the machines Tilt.  All fine and dandy. But when I titted this machine, it shut off likes its supposed too but the shutter didn't close.  Turns out after going over the schematic, that this machine, and I think Dude Ranch, the shutter doesn't close upon a tilt because,  the tilt circut is supposed to be open if the shutter is open.  So the machine is not supposed to tilt untill the sutter is closed.  So I look over the cabinet wiring and discovered appon looking in the cabinet that had the matching serial number, that the wiring for the tilt circut was different in the other cabinet.  So Bally made a change in the wiring without adding the change to the schematic.  Be aware of this if you ever mix match the heads and bases of this game with non matching serial numbers.

Reading the schematics of the Dude Ranch, I notice that shutter switch 5C is closed when shutter is open and shutter switch 4B is closed when shutter is open.
So when the machine is tilted, and the shutter is open, both switches are closed and 50 volt will get to the shutter motor to close it.
Will test it on my Dude Ranch
