So far so great! Lots of fun here meeting people and talking about new magic, and seeing the puppets. The only puppet vendor this year is Axtell, but he has several tables of examples set up! (drool) He showcased new products tonight, and I'll let you hear from him first or ask him if I can post.

But there was one product in particular that had everyone totally excited about the potential! Works for any type entertainer. You will have to see the video to appreciate it.

Sounds exciting.
Would love to have attended, but we don't travel far due to our pets.
So...Have to get my tickles and giggles from others.
Thanks for the response. I will keep an eye open for more....
Hope they post some on this site. Cause I do not do face book and I would hate to miss out.

Some pics are on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... 112&type=1
But there is a lot more. Here is what I remember:
1. Bigger Cockatoo, with plumage on its head that can rise up.
2. Bigger parrot.
3. Boy version of the girl puppet that had braces. (no braces on the boy) They are brother and sister.
4. New type of rod arm that allows the puppet to do the wilting flower or breakaway wand trick. Possibly many other tricks will be suggested to go with it as well.
5. Toxic Box. The first one in production was auctioned off and brought $700. It is a large box, with a monster puppet inside. The box is held on both sides (apparently) by the ventriloquists' arms. Lots of prop opportunities for the puppet to grab from the box. Think GIANT rabbit in the hat.
6. Virtual Scenery. This got a standing ovation. Turns your show into a movie. It really was awesome! It is a backdrop set up using rear screen projection and hiding spots for puppets, plus a projector.
7. Big mouth baby puppet. Wait for the pic. I don't want to spoil the surprise.

All will be big sellers.
