Good evening all.

Just been trying Runway 13's website (in the links on AMI). Looks as if it's down.

I bought a spray gun from them a cubbla years back at the MOdel Expo and it needs a service. A no-name-brand in a blue plastic box with three different gravity feed cups. Started blowing air past the trigger without the trigger being depressed. Had it apart, cleaned it, again and again, but just can't get it to work again.

Best gun I have, beats the seriously expensive Aztek, and the seriously cheap Autoparts chinese knock off, hands down.

Does anyone know if Runway 13 are still going, and if so how I can contact them. If not, where in Melbourne is good to get a spray gun serviced?

Regards

It sounds as though it could be a "O" ring problem, IIRC there was some talk of a degrading of the "O" rings after time. If you have no luck with Peter, try Ian and Lyndon at The Modellers Choice.

Its most likely the compression seal in between the colour cup and the trigger. Use a jewlers screwdriver to get in there, and slightly tighten by no more then an 1/ of a turn. You will also notice when you do this, the needle is harder to slide in, thats whayou want.
