shame about what it is for
I think its actually very tame ..considering other tail art like Boneyard Wrangler... think they would have gone for something very gun ho or something very suitable for a strike aircraft. Think the Caribou & B707 had a flashy farewell tail art?? The Herc had 50 years of service?

Surely something more poignant could've been designed for such a significant moment in the career of one of the RAAF's most highly visible aircraft types.

Don't get me wrong I like the design for what it is, I just think it could've been more 'gutsy'. I hope it's not a Pappy or Motty design because I'm sure they would've designed something more significant.

Yes what could have been if it was marked up like a US NAVY CAG Bird but chaps this the RAAF, at least they made an effort...
